Site History

My name is John Coppedge, and I am the author of this site.  In 2008, I started ForceCertified.com as a free community resource to help those preparing for Salesforce.com certification.  There are two key challenges with ForceCertified today:

1. The site materials are now outdated.
2. The site materials are limited in depth and scope.

CertifiedOnDemand.com was founded to be the next-generation of certification study guides, addressing both of the above challenges:

1. There will be a charge to access some content on CertifiedOnDemand.com.  Without charging for access, there isn’t enough of an incentive to keep the content updated.  You can expect to pay a nominal fee (around the cost of a book) for access.
2. CoD content is much more in-depth than ForceCertified, and includes videos, exercises, scenarios, and quizzes throughout most sections.  Clearly defined objectives serve as a checklist for certification preparation.  The layout of the materials has been entirely redesigned for easy test preparation and reference.

My Story

When I became a Salesforce administrator in 2008, I knew that was where I wanted to focus my career.  I have since become one of the first 500 Salesforce certified, have passed 6 Salesforce certification exams, and have become a Salesforce consultant professionally.  I am currently employed as a Solutions Architect at Astadia, a Salesforce.com platinum partner.
