    Hi John

I do not see “Call Center” in the App list on the top right, nor does it appear on the Apps page accessible from setup. Is it possible for a standard app not to appear unless enabled, or is Call Center no longer a standard app?

    Regards

In Question 3 – there is an extra space between ‘a series’. But I’m just being nit-picky.

    • rshanahan June 28, 2016 at 3:44 pm #

      Sorry – I meant Question 4

  7. pratiksha123 February 5, 2016 at 10:46 am #

Incase of multiple select questions, eg: Ques 2 : if I select 1 instead of 2 answers, will my answer be considered incorrrect ?

  18. walvendia May 12, 2015 at 1:54 am #

John – I just signed up for the paid portion of the site. Should I have answered more than 4 questions for this section’s quiz? What’s the difference between the paid and the free versions throughout the site?

    • JohnCoppedge May 13, 2015 at 3:58 pm #

The sections not marked “free” you would not have access to without a paid account.

  19. Rakesh Kapuriya April 24, 2015 at 1:16 pm #

There is a typo in answer of 2nd question.
Sentence “Sales in an application, not an object” should be “Sales is an application, not an object”.

  35. Harleen MANN November 13, 2014 at 5:14 am #

Awesome!! Is there a way readers can contribute (wiki style)?

  36. Donald Bohrisch November 11, 2014 at 3:00 am #

After taking the ADM 201 once already I can agree that these are questioned in the same way as the actual Test Questions.

  37. Harleen MANN November 10, 2014 at 4:03 am #

@John – Can we please have more quiz questions? The real test for the website as well as the readers is to convert our readings into actions ( correct answers)

    Tx.

    • JohnCoppedge September 21, 2014 at 6:03 pm #

I would try another browser, such as Chrome. Are you getting a message above that indicates that you need to sign up? If so you may need to upgrade your account.

    Hi John,

I’m trying to take the quiz but it keeps telling me “To view the remainder of this content, you must register for a free account. Please Login or Sign Up.” However it shows that I am logged in, any thoughts?

    • JohnCoppedge September 3, 2014 at 2:29 pm #

Your signup is probably incomplete – I would either try registering for the free product or ensuring that your transaction completed for the paid product.

  40. Mitchell Alverson August 8, 2014 at 4:28 pm #

Hello John, the little bar chart that shows my score against the avg score. I got 3 of 4 correct and my bar was brown and said 75% … the avg score was really short and green, and no %. Should I read that that on average people do really bad on this quiz?

    • JohnCoppedge August 11, 2014 at 4:18 am #

No, the feature wasn’t supposed to be enabled for the quiz. Thanks for pointing this out!

  41. Andrew Nerney April 28, 2014 at 8:11 pm #

    Hi John,

It looks like you have some good material on this site, but like others I am having problems in accessing the paid portions of it. I submitted a help ticket on this but I’m not sure if it went through, so I am leaving a comment here too.

I purchased the paid version of the guide this morning. I actually purchased it twice by accident, but still am unable to access any of the quizzes or other paid portions of this site. If I try to access any of those areas, I get a message to login even though I am already logged in. When I log in I am taken to the home page/product overview page. I have tried this in several browsers but am getting the same result.

On my profile on the Subscriptions tab, I can see both subscription requests, but both list “No” in the “Active” column. I haven’t received any activation email or other such request.

    Help?

    • JohnCoppedge April 29, 2014 at 2:33 am #

      Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the heads up. I replied via email as well. I believe this issue should now be resolved.

I could not personally replicated it, although I understand what could potentially have caused it and have hopefully resolve the issue. Please try signing up once more and let me know if you have any problems. I will make the issues get sorted out.

      Thanks for patience,

      John

      • Andrew Nerney April 29, 2014 at 4:49 am #

Thanks. I tried it again and it worked, and now I can access everything.

You may want to let people know that if they are using Firefox with the NoScript add-on (or any other browser/script blocker combo) that they will need to allow netdna-ssl.com otherwise the purchase page will not work correctly.

      • Todd Volpe September 3, 2014 at 2:00 pm #

        Hi John,

I’m trying to take the quiz but it keeps telling me “To view the remainder of this content, you must register for a free account. Please Login or Sign Up.” However it shows that I am logged in, any thoughts?

  42. Hilary Snyder April 25, 2014 at 3:50 pm #

I can leave a comment which shows I am logged in but it tells me to sign in to see the quiz questions. Tried a different browser. Want to purchase the full product but issues like this make me weary.

    • JohnCoppedge April 26, 2014 at 8:00 pm #

Hi Hillary – for which section? If you are logged in but have not purchased the guide, then you will not be able to view most quizzes. This is the way the site is currently designed to work.

For example – you should be able to see the overview quiz but not the service cloud quiz. If that isn’t the case let me know and I would be happy to work out the issue. Cheers,

      John

    Hi John,

When i attempt the second question it is only letting me select one answer whereas we are asking the following non std apps.

    • JohnCoppedge February 19, 2014 at 5:46 am #

Correct- you have the ability to select multiple non-standard apps. I believe the wording is correct, no?

  44. Dhara Shah January 27, 2014 at 11:35 pm #

In Question 2, I selected Accounts, Marketing and Invoices, which is not a
    standard salesforce application.

Only Call Center is a Sales force App. Why did I get error?

    • JohnCoppedge December 5, 2013 at 1:51 am #

The question is which are NOT standard applications … I will cap that in the Q. Thanks! Also, marketing is a std app.

    • Shamsher Singh December 22, 2014 at 7:06 am #

Account is not an standard salesforce application.

Can you try another browser? I just tried it in a few browsers and had no issues. Thanks!
